On 8 October 2025, NSW Skills Minister Steve Whan met with leading apprentices and trainees in Dapto for a roundtable discussion as part of the Apprenticeship and Traineeship Act Review (NSW Government News). Groups such as school-based apprentices and trainees (SBATs), women in trades, and regional learners were also represented. This inclusive approach signals the government’s commitment to listening to real voices and shaping reforms based on lived experiences.
