The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care will ensure you are a professional childhood educator who carries out tasks in compliance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National regulations and the National Quality Standard. You will learn about supporting child interaction, behaviour and care, assisting with child health and safety, supporting child development and learning, following legal and ethical frameworks
 
  • Upon successful completion of all units of competency for this qualification, the student will be awarded CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

  • This qualification will provide you a pathway to work as Assistant Educator, Family Day care Educator, Playgroup Supervisor

Students are required to:
  • A good ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance Certificate and Work with Children Check; 
  • Ability to work and communicate respectfully with background from different national backgrounds;

There is a mandatory work placement requirement of 160 hours. Signature Training College has signed agreements in place with providers in the community sector.
  • Assistant Educator in long day care, child care centres, occasional care
  • Assistant Educator in a Kindergarten or preschool program
  • Assistant Educator in occasional care
  • Family Day Care Educator
  • In Home Care Provider/nanny
  • Playgroup Supervisor
  • Other education based employers may accept this qualification, such as working as a tutor, education support staff or as a teacher aide.
Education pathways after completing CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care may include:
  • CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
  • CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services
  • CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support
  • CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support
If you are a new enrolling student, undertaking Nationally recognized training, you will need a USI number to receive your Qualification/Statement of Attainment. If you do not have a USI you will not be able to receive a qualification. To create a USI account, go to the website: www.usi.gov.au

Fee-for-Service Programs:
Students enrolled in fee-for-service courses can make payments in agreed amounts over a set period. Please note, we do not accept single payments exceeding $1500. Payment options will be discussed based on your individual circumstances.

Government-Funded Programs:
