Training delivery as determined by the Unit of Competency which includes:

Training Calendar

It is planned that a student will complete all 18 units of competency within 52 weeks.

  • Delivered over 36 weeks of classroom-based Training and assessment
  • 16 weeks school break
  • 15 hours of face-to-face study per week

Accreditation

Signature Training College is registered with and accredited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and is authorised to deliver Nationally Recognized Training within the Australian Qualifications Framework.
There is no formally prescribed course entry requirement for this qualification. However, Signature Training College does require the following to satisfy the entry criteria.
  • Student should be 18 years of age or over
  • Completed year 12 (HSC or Equivalent)
  • Have sound communication skills:
  • Provide IELTS certificate showing a score of 5.5 or above (or equivalent)
  • Undertake and successfully complete Signature Training College Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment
  • Be able to satisfactorily participate in preenrolment interview

The students must complete 80 hours minimum work placement within a regulated hospitality facility such as a restaurant, hotel or club to get real-life, on-the-job experience and the opportunity to practice what you learn.

Education pathways after completing SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality may include:
  • Certificate IV in Hospitality
  • Diploma of Hospitality Management

If you are a new enrolling student, undertaking Nationally recognized training, you will need a USI number to receive your Qualification/Statement of Attainment. If you do not have a USI you will not be able to receive a qualification. To create a USI account, go to the website: www.usi.gov.au
