Important Notice: ReadyTech / VETtrak Cyber Incident

Signature Training College wishes to reassure all learners, staff and stakeholders that their personal information has not been impacted by the recent cybersecurity incident affecting ReadyTech’s VETtrak Student Management System, which occurred on 17 October 2025.

ReadyTech, the provider of our student management platform, has confirmed that while a number of Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) using the VETtrak platform were affected, Signature Training College is not among the 23 customers whose data was included in the impacted dataset.

The incident involved the publication of certain files originating from the VETtrak system. ReadyTech has since taken immediate action, including engaging cybersecurity experts, notifying affected clients, and securing a Supreme Court injunction prohibiting any access to or dissemination of the impacted data. The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), the National Office of Cyber Security (NOCS), and other relevant authorities have been notified and are assisting in the ongoing response.

Signature Training College continues to monitor the situation closely and is maintaining communication with ReadyTech to ensure all necessary protections remain in place. We take our learners’ privacy and data security very seriously and continue to uphold the highest standards in cybersecurity and compliance.
